  ...is you don't start growing a beard in the spring!

  you start growing it in the fall, keep your chin warm in the winter, and then shave it off for warm weather.

  at least that's how it works in my household and in the northern hemisphere where the gb are.. i have the sneaking suspicion that there is going to be a steep learning curve for many.. will they know to trim it along their jawbone properly?

  There's a lot not only in that livestream but in statements he's made over the years that he's unintentionally revealed there is more to what he is telling us.

  With that in mind, check out footnote #97 in TRA regarding the first JC:

  When preparing this chapter I came across the letters and emails I sent to Wilmslow and Bramhall elders over this period, which are still on my hard drive and now make for disturbing reading. The tone is self-abasing as I prostrate myself, scrambling to avoid disfellowshipping at a time when rescuing my marriage should have been my only concern. It is obvious that I was a completely different, more servile person than I am now, and acting under powerful forces I was then unable to comprehend.

  Does this sound like he only got caught sexting? Multiple "letters and emails" to elders in two congregations? He makes it clear he wanted to avoid DFing more so than his marriage crumbling, probably because he knew he could manipulate his wife. All of this over sexting?
  

  But the parent passage in his book seemingly contradicts this:

  In a series of disciplinary meetings before a “judicial committee” comprised of three elders I was asked to go into extremely intimate detail regarding the nature of my online encounters, what precisely these involved, with whom and how often. [96] These hearings were extremely emotional. I recall breaking down in tears on at least one occasion. At the time I did not feel the nature of questioning was overly invasive or inappropriate. I believed I was receiving needed discipline from God’s organization, and I simply had to man up and see it through for the benefit of my marriage. Of course, I now cringe at the thought of sharing such personal matters with men who had no more right to this information than my local postman or storekeeper, but at the time I was convinced it was necessary. [97]

  In this passage he thought coming clean to the elders would save his marriage! Which one is it?!
  

  So we know that it was a "series" of JCs with elders from both Wilmslow and Bramhall congregations. All due to at least two instances of sexting? The level of detail and the hoops he had to jump through doesn't match the crime of sexting.

  It would however match the crime of an actual physical encounter with one or more of his chat victims.

  His patreons are slightly up again.

  This has happened before. If this number holds until EOM, he's looking at roughly -10 again. He's treading water at this point assuming he's going to keep these patterns.

  This could drag on for eternity lol

  This is not enough to retire on which is what he wants to do. The chances are decent that we'll see a wrinkled up prune face complete with jowls going on about how much JWs have changed since "back in my day". If I were him I'd worry about whether he qualifies for a Croatian pension or not.

  It’s a compilation of rebuttals from last year. He quit doing rebuttals after he sacked Tibor so he had to do one final one for this video to keep up. It is about 90-95% content he has already. The content he added was very minimal.

  So 100% shunning was never a thing anyway, and the current shift in the policy appears marginal

  In practice it was already on the way out. I know people who often had contact with DFed ones and elders rarely did anything other than provide counsel if that. It was a selectively enforced rule, seemingly reserved for heinous offenders.

  Hailstone message AND everyone will be saved? Questions

  i’ve not been paying close attention to watchtower developments, but talking to a jw yesterday it occurred to me the society (yes, still use that term - old school) have been sending out mixed messages in recent years.

  from what i gather, a few years ago the gb announced that during the great tribulation jws would be required to preach a “hailstone message of judgement” which involved telling people it was too late for them to repent and they were definitely going to be destroyed.

  there were hints that this could be very soon, “any day now” preaching could stop and the hailstone message come in, kind of thing.

  I think they are making it easier to be a JW and this is a serious attempt at keeping the younger generations from leaving. The only ones angered by this are the boomer generation and older who lived their entire lives under these rules. They are not the future and the GB finally realised this.

  Only thing I am certain of is why TMIII was removed. Mr Tight Pants himself would have never approved this and likely was the huge hold-out in all these GB votes. Probably was actively campaigning behind the scenes and was causing division in the GB ranks.

  Looks like the modernisers have taken the victory. Unclear as to how far they will take this. 1914 is a huge inconvenience right now and I think they might wait until more of the older ones die off before repealing it.

  "Cara pronounced Sara" doesn't get enough attention. And by attention, I mean mockery.

  He was trying to humiliate her by going into these details about who he was with. This was the same guy who asked her to purchase condoms for him prior to the trip, so it’s all related.

  By dishing out personal details like the pronunciation of her name, her possible occupation and her return to Bangkok, he was also trying to make his wife believe that she wasn’t a hooker. Him going there and purchasing sex wasn’t in line with his stated purpose of seeing if younger women could still be attracted to him. If he’s paying them, it completely negates that point.

  I believe Dijana saw through all that, understood the game he was trying to play by painting a picture that he had a lot of options elsewhere, and she called out his bullshit. If his recent comedy routine is anything to go by, I’d say she has been vindicated. Lloyd seems to never get a woman past the initial date(s) and they do not want to pursue it further.

  The best revenge is happiness. I think the contrasts between where those two are in their own personal lives right now couldn’t be more vivid.

  so it's more of him just regurgitating videos and spouting off his opinions

  He reminded the viewer that he stopped doing rebuttals last year in the first segment, so with the exception of the Isaac sacrifice video rebuttal, all of these rebuttals were from last year. 95% of the video was recycled from previous rebuttals. He then appeared in an outro thanking "2023 Lloyd".

  You'll see footage of him at Ramacro, thanking Tibor, and his ever changing hair colour and length. One thing that stood out was how energetic he was in the early videos, especially the Ramacro ones. These were the ones where he was riding high on his begging bounce. As he returned to his flat to film, the fire had gone out of his voice and his rebuttals were terse. In contrast he spent long minutes going on and on about trans people in one of the Ramacro videos.

  One point he tried to drill that made little sense was how the book of Deuteronomy only forbade men from dressing like women, not necessarily transitioning to women. Uhhh, if the Bible writers thought men dressing as a woman was a sin, surgery to become one was even more of one. He needs to think critically and not be so eager to virtue signal.
